System from DEFINITY at gateways across Prague Airport15. 03. 2017
DEFINITY Systems developed a system of software registration of one-off entries and a record of visits at Václav Havel Airport in Prague
The DEFINITY team assumed an obsolete system that no longer met the growing demands of the Czech Aeroholding Company, under which the airport administration falls. Since 2012, when the DEFINITY System has taken it over, the system of records and visits has been significantly expanded with important functionality, which has led to a big improvement in the evidence of movement of people and outsiders at Prague Airport.
The system is implemented at gateways throughout the Prague Airport. Through the web interface available from an internal network, all entry into the facility, including approval of entry, issuance of an ID card and billing to businesses, is controlled. Applications are automatically passed through the system to the manager for approval. The manager need not manually enter data into the system (as was the case in the previous period). Client license and hardware management costs are minimal.
As another module, DEFINITY has developed a module for external requests, which, through a secured external part, enables applications to be forwarded to the internal environment.
DEFINITY always fully respects the changing environment of Václav Havel Prague International Airport and, in providing service and system development, one-time inputs fully reflect the requirements of the contracting authority.
